Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026. This policy covers WorkTool Note at worktoolnote.blog. For a question or a request about information held by this site, use our contact form.

Information you provide

  • Contact messages: the form asks for your email address and message, with an optional name. We use these details to respond, investigate corrections and handle privacy or partnership requests. Sending a message does not add you to an email subscription.
  • Email subscriptions: if you choose to subscribe, WordPress.com processes your email address and subscription details to deliver new posts and manage your preferences. Use the unsubscribe link in a subscription email to stop future post notifications.
  • Downloads: the weekly report template is available through a direct file link. The download itself does not require you to submit an email address or subscribe.

Hosting and technical information

WordPress.com hosts the site and provides forms, subscriptions, security and site statistics. Its operator, Automattic, may process IP addresses, browser and device information, referring pages, access times and approximate location. Form responses can include technical details such as an IP address.

Contact submissions are available to the site operator through the WordPress.com dashboard and its email notification service. The platform also provides spam protection. Details of Automattic’s processing are in its Privacy Notice for Visitors to Our Users’ Sites.

Cookies and advertising

WordPress.com and Jetpack may use cookies and similar technologies for site functions, security, subscriptions and statistics. WorkTool Note uses a paid WordPress.com plan, so the platform’s free-site advertisements are removed. We have not enabled Google AdSense or another advertising network on this site. We will update this policy and any applicable consent controls before introducing additional advertising or analytics services.

Use the privacy or cookie controls displayed by WordPress.com and your browser’s cookie settings to manage available choices. Blocking cookies may affect some site functions. See Automattic’s Cookie Policy for its technologies and choices.

Use and retention

We use messages to deal with the request they contain and to keep a necessary record of the response. Subscription information is used to manage the subscription. Records may also be needed for security, disputes or legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of information held by WorkTool Note; some platform logs and backups are managed separately by WordPress.com.

WorkTool Note does not sell contact messages or subscriber lists. Service providers process information to operate the site and deliver these functions. Automattic describes its recipients, retention and international processing in its own privacy notices.

Your choices and requests

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Send requests through the contact form, preferably using the email address connected with the information. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

For information held in your own WordPress.com account, use WordPress.com’s account privacy controls or support. Other websites linked from our articles operate under their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We will revise this page when the site’s data practices change, including when additional advertising or analytics services are introduced. The update date above identifies the current version.
